Man killed in hunting accident identified

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A man killed in a hunting accident in Cullman County on Sunday has been identified.

Thirty-seven-year-old Thomas Tucker Jr. was shot and killed around 4 p.m., according to Cullman County Coroner Steve Rogers.

Rogers says a hunter was using buckshots and was aiming at a deer. He says the hunter never saw Tucker.

The accident happened in the Big Bridge area near the Crane Hill community in Cullman County.
