BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Barber Motorsports was buzzing Saturday with the sweet song of racing, but these aren’t multi-million dollar, well-oiled machines.
The “24 Hours of Lemon”is an endurance racing series for cars not costing more than $500.
It’s a series that features cars that are not usually on a race track, and it’s a test of will.
Participants are still known to keep safety as a top priority.
As far as rules go, the only requirement is to have a valid driver’s license.
