BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Alabama’s cold winter may make some people want to leave, but it has brought a bumper crop of bald eagles to Alabama.
According to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, some bald eagles have made their way to Lake Guntersville State Park.
More eagles have made their way to the park than usual.
The state park says anyone who wants to see the eagles should head to the park to see them. Those who visit can learn about the bald eagles through the Lake Guntersville State Park’s Eagle Awareness program.
There’s only a few weekends remaining before the birds head back home.
