PARRISH, Ala. (WIAT) — Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested and charged a man in connection with numerous bomb threats and a robbery.
Benji Chap Morrow, 35, was arrested Wednesday at his home.
He’s charged with three counts of making a terrorist threat and one count of first-degree robbery.
The charges stem from incidents on January 17. Three bomb threats were made at two schools and a hospital in Jefferson County around 9 a.m.
At the same time, a man walked into Rock Creek Pharmacy in Concord, pulled out a gun and robbed the pharmacy of cash and drugs.
Authorities found a stolen truck believed to have been driven by Morrow just a few miles away from the pharmacy.
Morrow is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $105,000 bond.
