BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — With memories of last week’s winter weather so fresh in our minds, Alabama’s severe weather preparedness sales tax holiday is just two weeks away.
Beginning at midnight on Feb. 21 and ending Sunday Feb. 23 at midnight, many cities will waive sales tax for specific.
Things like batteries, cell phone chargers and NOAA weather radios are included.
Ice packs, smoke detectors and non-electronic can openers are also included.
