BPD officers confiscate slot machines in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Vice narcotics officers with the Birmingham Police Department conducted a raid Tuesday evening in the 3700 block of Felix Avenue.

According to Lt. Sean Edwards, vice narcotics officers confiscated at least 42 slot machines and several thousand dollars at a location that is park of Mama and Son’s Hideaway Restaurant and Lounge.

Six people were arrested during the raid.

Police say the house had several rooms, each with multiple slot machines, a bar and a security camera.
