HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — Lorna Road in Hoover will soon be repaved, and certain sections of the road will be reduced to a 25 mph speed limit.
The Hoover Police Department announced the plans on their Facebook page Wednesday,
“Lorna Road will be re-paved from the north end to Hwy 150. There will also be work done on the bridge over I 459. They will also be working on a sidewalk on Patton Chapel Road from Lorna to Montgomery Highway,” the Facebook post read. “They will possibly start work any day and hopefully be finished by June.”
Signs indicating where the different speed limits will be enforced will be put up on Lorna Road and surrounding roads.
