BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A new piece of artwork is giving people a reason to drive down 18th Street South in downtown Birmingham.
The 6 ft. tall, 34 ft. long mural is a gift to the city from Wells Fargo Bank. It depicts key moments Birmingham’s civil rights history during the 1950s and 60s.
Similar murals are also going up in Montgomery and Memphis, Tennessee.
