America Saves Week: Coupons

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Usually, when you hear about someone into “couponing,” you may think of those people who walk into the store with stacks of coupons, ready to fill up a few shopping carts. But that takes hours of prep work. Most of us would like to find out how to save a few bucks, without spending an entire day to plan in advance.

This is America Saves Week, and all week, we’ve been giving you tips on how to improve your financial outlook.

For Thursday’s tip, Melissa Reeves from eCO Credit Union says, couponing isn’t all about hours and hours of clipping anymore. If you want to save money, there’s an app for that!
