BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A Birmingham business owner facing serious charges will get a chance to plead his case to keep his business license. A public hearing will be held Monday for the man accused of shooting at a customer who complained about finding a bug in her food.
A Birmingham City Council committee plans to discuss a proposal to revoke the license of the “Good Friends Chinese and Seafood Restaurant” on Dennision Avenue.
The restaurant is currently closed until the matter is resolved. That meeting begins at 4 p.m., in the city council chambers. In the meantime, the owner of the restaurant is facing attempted murder charges in the shooting.
A customer says Chun Hin Ching fired a shot at her head after she told him she found a cockroach in her eggroll.
