BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Barons will be back in action March 28 when they take on their parent club, the Chicago White Sox at Regions Field.
However, fans don’t have to wait until then to enjoy what the stadium has to offer.
The Barons are hosting an open house Saturday. It runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Those who attend can take a tour of Regions Field, including areas not normally open to the public on game days.
Children can enjoy the playground and rub elbows with the Barons mascots, Babe Ruff and Lillie Mays.
Besides free refreshments, Barons gear will also be half off.
