TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — A three-year investigation in Tuscaloosa resulted in an arrest of a man believed to be responsible for being a major supplier of steroids in Tuscaloosa County and surrounding areas.
The West Alabama Narcotics Task Force arrested 47-year-old Ronald Wedgeworth Jr. on March 2, 2014.
He’s charged with second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Agents say Wedgeworth had large amounts of liquid and powder steroids, Viagra, marijuana and lab equipment.
They also recovered guns.
Wedgeworth is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $325,000 bond.
