Reward offered for information on death of Blount Co. teacher

BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — The Blount County DA’s office is offering a $10,000 reward for any information about the death of a retired school teacher. Rhonette Lyles, 77, was found dead inside her burning home in the Horton community on February 8th. Arson has been ruled as the cause of the fire.

The Blount County District Attorney says Lyles was a beloved teacher at Cleveland Elementary School and touched many lives in the community.
