GADSDEN, Ala. (WIAT) — After recently coming under fire for writing employees checks that were bouncing, the owner of an Etowah County Ambulance Service is now in the clear. The charges against Roger Stanmore have been dropped.
Stanmore owns Gadsden Etowah EMS. He was charged with writing bad checks after his employees’ paychecks bounced. They were so upset, they walked off the job. Earlier this week, Stanmore handed all the money he owed, plus fees, to the District Attorney’s office. Afterwards, the DA’s office dropped the charges.
