Two arrested in Bessemer for multiple drug trafficking charges

BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) – On Thursday, Bessemer Police’s Special Operations Unit arrested Kimothy Ronely Hale, 39, and Rickea Dwan Jordan, 33, at a home off of Selma Road, in the Broadmoor Community. The arrest came after a two week investigation by the Unit, that led to them obtaining a search warrant for the residence.

While conducting the search warrant, officers found and seized:

  • 41 grams of cocaine
  • 7 pounds of marijuana
  • 27 Oxycodone tablets
  • 17 Alprazolam tablets
  • $6,304.00
  • 3 Firearms
  • Scales
  • Packaging materials

Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Bessemer City Jail, with warrants for Trafficking Cannabis ($500,000 bond), Trafficking Cocaine ($500,000 bond), and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia ($3,000 bond). Both will be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail.
