Alabama returns to the field for spring practice

Tuscaloosa, Ala. (WIAT)-The process has started again for Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Day 1 of Spring Football is in the books and this edition has a lot of new chapters including that of new offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin.

Not seeing AJ McCarron taking snaps will take some getting used to.

Florida State transfer Jacob Coker won’t be here until May so all eyes will be on some of the less experienced quarterbacks like like Blake Sims, Alec Morris, and Cooper Bateman.

The secondary has some holes to fill with C.J. Mosley and Ha Ha Clinton Dix on their way to the NFL draft.

Coach Saban noted that they were experimenting with redshirt freshman ArDarius Stewart who worked out with the safeties on Saturday.

Also, senior center Chad Lindsay and tight end Harrison Jones have decided not to return for their final year of eligibility after graduating from school last year.
