BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — If you blink your eyes, you may miss all the fun.
There’s nothing like a parade, no matter how big or small.
One man served as the grand marshal for the world’s smallest St. Patrick’s Day parade in Enterprise over the weekend.
The man was also the middle and end of the parade. In fact, he was the entirety of the parade.
It’s a tradition in town to elect one lucky person to serve as grand marshal to walk the parade route.
It took retired Army veteran Mark Doyle ten minutes to make his way through the streets of Enterprise.
He says he felt like a superstar with the crowds cheering him on.
