Thomas May found guilty of capital murder

OPELIKA, Ala. (WIAT) — The man accused of killing his mother-in-law at Southern Union Community College has been found guilty of capital murder. A jury will now decide if Thomas May will receive life in prison, or the death penalty.

May was charged with killing his mother-in-law, and injuring his estranged wife, her grandmother, and his own daughter. It happened in 2011 at Southern Union Community College in Opelika.
