BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The man accused of using a false name while trying to fly out of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is scheduled to head to court Friday.
Robert Ricks was arrested last week for violating airport security requirements. He was originally arrested under the name of “Robert Hick.” Federal agents say he picked up that name while listening to the PA system at the airport, then tried to obtain a boarding pass with it.
Ricks will appear before Judge John England Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm.
