Blount County fire death

BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A $20,000 reward is now being offered to find the person responsible for the death of an elderly Blount County woman. Hoping to solve the death of Rhonette Lyles, Blount County Sheriffs have doubled the original reward amount.

Lyles was found inside her Morman Road home February 8th. The home had been set on fire, now they’re working to determine, just how she died. But to do that, they need answers, and information from anyone who may know.

Anyone with information can contact the Blount County Crime Stoppers at 274-2746.

All calls are anonymous.
