Alabama gets back to work for another spring practice

TUSCALOOSA,AL.(WIAT)-The University of Alabama football team held a two-hour practice session in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Facility on Wednesday as the team works up to the first scrimmage of the spring on Saturday.

There were numerous alums on hand for Wednesday’s practice, including Wallace Gilberry, Jesse Williams, Josh Chapman, Anthony Steen, Cyrus Kouandjio and Chance Warmack. AJ McCarron and Dre Kirkpatrick also spent time at the football complex on Wednesday.

It marked the sixth practice of spring drills with scrimmages slated for practice eight on Saturday and practice 12 on Saturday, April 12. Alabama’s 2014 A-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. (CDT) inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day Game is once again free to the public and will be televised live on ESPNU.
