Suspected sexual predator

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The FBI is asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of sexually exploiting a child.

The man, referred to as John Doe 28, is suspected of engaging in sexually explicit activities first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in November of 2012.

A picture shows the suspect wearing a t-shirt with a shark logo. He is seen sitting inside a home with a blue sofa chair and a picture hanging on the wall.

The FBI says the suspect’s whereabouts are unknown as well, but he appears to be a 30- to 40-year-old male with a receding hairline wearing wire-frame glasses.

Anyone with information on the man’s whereabouts or identity should call the FBI’s toll-free tip line at 1-800-225-5324.
