BRENT, Ala. (WIAT) — UPDATE: The body of Bobby Seales has been found in Greenville.
ORIGINAL: It’s been one week since a Bibb County father and husband vanished without a trace.
Bobby Seales told his family he was running to the gas station on March 28, but he never returned home.
Family and friends have put out fliers and searched all over the county ever since for any sign of Seales.
They say he’s a loving family man and a hard worker, and his disappearance has been shocking.
“Misty, she’s devastated. She doesn’t know what to do. She loves her husband just as much as I know he loves her, and I know she just wants him home,” said Angela Finnen, a close family friend. “She doesn’t know what to do or how to get him there.”
Law enforcement and family members have also checked surveillance video at gas stations and around the city.
They’re looking for Seales’ 2004 silver Toyota Tacoma truck.
“The search has been difficult, because right now, we have not been able to locate the vehicle,” said Chief Terry Nichols with the Brent Police Department. “We’ve had a few leads. A few people have called us with possible information. None of that has panned out at this particular time.”
Seales’ truck has a toolbox and a Hoyt Hunting sticker on the back. Seales is 40 years old with blond hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with information pertaining to his whereabouts should call the Brent Police Department at (205) 926-4647.
