JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A damaged street in Forestdale is being repaired.
CBS42 first reported the horrendous conditions on Blue Bell Road in March.
Now, significant changes are noticeable.
The Jefferson County Roads and Transportation Department filled the potholes.
Crews also put down sand and gravel to level the road.
Michael Hannah, who lives on Blue Bell Road, says he’s thrilled about the changes.
“They actually did a lot more than I thought they were going to do,” Hannah said. “I’m really happy, and the neighbors around here are really happy that we got this done.”
