Joint task force raid leads to arrests at Vestavia home near high school

VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (WIAT) – An officer with the Vestavia Hills Police spoke with CBS42’s Natalie Tejeda. They said this was a joint task force between Vestavia Hills Police, Birmingham Police and the DEA. The task force served a drug warrant to the home at 1589 Panorama Drive.

When they searched the residence, they found a large amount of a white substance that they believe to be cocaine. The substance has been confiscated and is set to be analyzed.Vestavia arrest

Two men were arrested, though it is unknown at this time if they were the homeowners, or have some relation with the owners. Their names are currently being withheld.

The house is located less than a mile away from Vestavia Hills High School.
