CLANTON, Ala. (WIAT) — Since the April 27, 2011 storms, a famous Bessemer native has been on a mission to help Alabama move forward.
Now, Bo Jackson is gearing up for Bo Bikes Bama again.
The former Auburn standout kicked off his 2014 campaign Tuesday in Clanton.
Jackson and Alabama Governor Robert Bentley toured a community shelter at Higgins Ferry State Park.
The governor’s Emergency Relief Fund paid for the shelter.
The Bo Bikes Bama campaign raises money for the fund.
