TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) – The victim of a single-car crash in Tuscaloosa Saturday died Wednesday at UAB Hospital, according to Sgt. Steve Jarrett with the Alabama Department of Public Safety.
Jarrett says 65-year-old Shawnee Box Corley was killed when her 2002 Ford Taurus left the road and hit a culvert at 9:20 p.m. on April 12.
The crash happened on Alabama Highway 216 about three miles east of Tuscaloosa.
Jarrett says Corley was not using a seatbelt at the time of the accident. She was taken to UAB Hospital but died April 16.
