The 16th annual Lebanese Food Festival kicks off Friday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — If you’re looking for delicious food and dancing, the Lebanese Food and Cultural festival might be what you’re looking for. The festival has been gearing up for its 16th year with cooking preparations all week.

You can enjoy the traditional Lebanese food, along with learning a little more about a different culture. Rain or shine, the festival will take place at St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church Friday and Saturday, from 10 am to 9 pm.

Guided tours are also part of the activities. If you want to start your day earlier on Saturday, you can join in on a 5k run beginning at 8 am or a fun run at 9 am.
