BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Popular youth evangelist, Matt Pitt, will get an update on the case against him on Monday when his case heads before the grand jury.
The charges in Jefferson County involve the impersonation of a police officer. Pitt spent eight months in the Shelby County Jail for a parole violation.
That happened in 2013 during an incident involving a BB gun in Jefferson County. The key witness in the case has since changed his story.
