JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says the agency responded to areas of damage in the Morris and Kimberly area, Graysville and Bessemer overnight.
Sheriff’s office spokesman Randy Christian says homes are damaged and trees are down in all three areas.
No major roads are blocked and there have been no reports of serious injuries or deaths.
Christian says people should avoid the damaged areas so utility crews and first responders can continue scanning the area.
