GRAYSVILLE, Ala. (WIAT) – Some of the worst damage sustained across Central Alabama happened in Graysville in Jefferson County.
State Representative Juandalynn Givan is asking for help to clean up the debris and repair homes.
“Right now, first of all, we need the prayers of the people,” Givan said. “This is a devastating storm. Hitting within a three-year anniversary of April 2011.”
Givan says supplies, such as water, are always needed in the community as the clean up and move forward after the storm.
She says Mayor William Bell has sent resources to Graysville to assist, and Governor Robert Bentley has been helpful as well.
