BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — BMW announced it is recalling more than 150,000 cars and SUV’s due to the engines losing power or stalling.
The company says a manufacturing flaw in camshaft bolts can increase the risk of a crash. It covers multiple models from 2010 to 2012.
The recall will begin in May, and dealers will replace the bolts free of charge. No injuries have been reported.
