TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama Supreme Court will take another look at allegations of voter fraud in a fiercely contested Tuscaloosa municipal election.
CBS42 obtained the appellant’s brief filed with the Alabama Supreme Court Thursday.
Ousted school board member, Kelly Horwitz, claims that members of the University of Alabama greek system traded votes in exchange for illegal inducements, like free alcohol.
She also claims that many students weren’t eligible to vote.
Horwitz’s challenge of the election was thrown out in November by a Tuscaloosa County circuit court judge.
