Community speaks out after Ramsay high school principal is put on administrative leave

Students, parents, teachers and community members are speaking out after administrators put Ramsay high school principal, Dr. Evelyn Nettles, on paid administrative leave without any explanation.

On Friday, Nettles packed her office and that upset students, especially the senior class. Many students told CBS 42–that they want Dr. Nettles to sign their diplomas and shake their hands at graduation. SGA president Jordan Kurtz said that Nettles she actually took the time to get to know all of the students and didn’t have favorites. One parent,

Alethia Feliming said she was going to sing a petition and continue to call until Nettles was back in her office. More will be discussed at a school board meeting on Tuesday May 13th at 5:30.
