BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — More businesses have shut down by the Birmingham City Council.
Councilors agreed to revoke the business licenses of two so-called “trouble spots.” One of those locations is the Foxx Trap in Birmingham.
Councilors were worried about safety, especially after a shooting behind the club in March. A woman was also shot not far from the club, after an argument that began there.
The council also had its eyes on the Continental Ballroom. Members voted to shut down that business in April.
