Keepers of the Course: Preparing for a round at the Regions Tradition

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The second round of the Regions Tradition at Shoal Creek wrapped up Friday. Playing conditions were picture perfect, but Mother Nature can’t take all the credit.

Early Friday morning, just before sunrise, the rules committee made a proud of the course going from tee to green on every hole to make sure every blade of grass is in perfect condition for the world’s best golfers.

“Professional golfers have to be flexible,” said Brian Claar. “Every day is different. The weather is different, you feel different, the golf course is different. You just have to be flexible and you just have to adjust on the fly.”
