ALABASTER, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabaster school board is closer to building its new high school. The board of education chose a 300-acre plot between Thompson Road and Kent Dairy Road.
Once a bond issue is confirmed, the board of education will move forward with the purchase. The land will cost about $3.6 million.
When the land is secured, the high school will be built over a two- or three-year period.
