Dealing with SEC Baseball Tournament traffic in Hoover

HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) – The SEC Baseball tournament is underway at the Hoover Met this week. With more than 100,000 fans filing through during the course of the four day tournament, it is a safe assumption that traffic problems could pop up. But Captain Jim Coker with the Hoover Police Department says not to worry.

“This is something we are very practiced at.  This is something we plan for, this is something we do often and we put a lot of time and effort into it.” –Captain Jim Coker, Hoover PD

The Hoover PD are prepared and ready to help ease whatever headache this could cause Hoover residents. Coker says this is something they have practiced and prepared for, putting a lot of time and effort into it.
