BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A man whose name has been linked with Birmingham’s automotive industry since the early 1950s has died. Jim Limbaugh died Tuesday.
He was a graduate of West End High School. He entered the work place in 1951 at Fred Goad Motors, a Mercury dealership in Birmingham. From 1973 to 1996, he owned and operated Jim Limbaugh Chevrolet in West End.
Funeral services for Limbaugh are set for Friday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Chapel. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations be made to the Comprehensive Cancer Center.
