Splash Adventure smashes away the old ways

BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) — Alabama Splash Adventure Water Park is under new management. The new team is really shaking things up at the part, or should we say smashing things up.

“Tubes are always free, no tube rental building, this thing had to be destroyed, we had to destroy the parking booths, no parking fees, no tube rental fees, this thing had to be destroyed!  So sayonara ,goodbye!” -Daniel Cook

Water tube rentals are a thing of the past. To make the point clear, Daniel Cook took matters into his own hands, dropping a truck onto the tube rental booth. The new owner is making sure the public knows what’s new at Splash Adventure. And that starts with the tubes, “Tubes are always free, no tube rental building, this thing had to be destroyed, we had to destroy the parking booths, no parking fees, no tube rental fees, this thing had to be destroyed!  So sayonara ,goodbye!” said Daniel.

The truck used to smash the tube rental booth is being sold for scrap metal, and the proceeds will be donated to the Alabama Juvenile Diabetes Association, along with an additional $1000 from Alabama Splash Adventure. The park is open daily beginning May 24th.
