BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Toyota is issuing two separate recalls affecting more than 380,000 vehicles.
The first involves Sienna minivans from model years 2004 to 2011. The automaker says salt water can corrode parts under the vehicle causing the spare tire to fall off.
Another recall is for more than 10,000 2013 model Lexus GS 350 sedans. The brake system can suddenly activate on it’s own and not illuminate the rear brake lights to warn other drivers.
Toyota is also recalling 50,000 Highlander and Highlander hybrid SUV’s because of a front air bag problem.
Toyota says it is unaware of any accidents or injuries related to any of these issues.
