The 4th Annual Salsa Showdown
At Avondale Brewing Company supporting the Sidewalk film Festival on Saturday 2-6pm
24 Frames Per Second, The Sidewalk Film Festival Young Professionals Organization, is hosting Birmingham’s 4th Annual Salsa Showdown – a fundraising competition between local restaurants & catering companies to determine who offers the best salsa, guacamole, queso, and specialty dip. Admission will include unlimited sampling privileges at each competitor’s station, a ballot for casting an “Audience Choice” vote, Piñata smashes, Kid Zone sponsored by Alabama Baby and Child Magazine, live entertainment, beverage vending, and the Hot Pepper Eating Contest with cash prize.
Proceeds will benefit the Sidewalk Film Festival/Alabama Moving Image Association, a federally recognized 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.
$10 advance online/$15 at the gate
