BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) — Bessemer police arrested and charged two suspects in connection with a Saturday robbery at Sally Beauty Supply. Mornterieus Densmore, 24, and Tiffany Brianna Hill, 21, were charged with first-degree robbery. Bessemer police spokesman Lt. D.L. Hunter says Densmore threatened to kill the people inside the store. Police arrived at the store and saw Densmore moving towards the front of the store with a handgun. When police approached him, he took off towards the back of the store and fled through the back door.

He then ran down an alley, jumped a fence, ran down a trail through the woods and got into a getaway car driven by Hill.

Police approached the car as it tried to leave the parking lot and were able to stop the suspects from fleeing.

Densmore and Hill are being held on $60,000 bond. Hunter says more charges are expected to be filed.
