Birmingham high schools hold graduation ceremonies

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — After several different storms this year forced Birmingham school systems to extend the year by several days, graduation day has finally arrived for Birmingham high school seniors.

Several schools will be graduating over the next two days at the Bill Harris Arena at the Birmingham Crossplex.

Jackson-Olin will have their ceremony at 10 AM Tuesday morning followed by Huffman High at 1 PM. Wenonah will have their commencement at 4 PM and then Woodlawn will end the day with their graduation at 7 PM.

Wednesday, Ramsay, Carver, and Parker High Schools will hold their graduation ceremonies. You can expect a lot of traffic and large crowds around the Birmingham Crossplex over the next two days.
