BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A court hearing is set for a lawsuit filed in last year’s UPS plane crash. Four plaintiffs are scheduled to head to court Wednesday morning at 9 am.
In august of last year, UPS flight 1354 crashed just short of the runway at the Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport. The two pilots on board were killed.
Since then residents living around the airport have claimed that the crash has caused them to suffer from mental anguish and stress. They also say the crash damaged their property and lowered their home value.
