Vestavia Hills dry cleaner allows customers to pick up clothes after abruptly closing

VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (WIAT) — A Vestavia Hills dry cleaning shop is allowing customers to pick up their clothes after the store abruptly closed several weeks ago. Customers of Fashion Cleaners had no idea what happened and when or if they would even get their clothes back.

The business owner finally showed up Tuesday afternoon to let customers retrieve their clothes. The owner tells WIAT 42 News that he’s dealing with family issues and intends on closing the store for good.

However, several customers are not pleased. They’ve already paid for their clothes to be cleaned.

Now, they’re getting them back after several weeks and some are still not cleaned.

If you still have clothes at Fashion Cleaners, you can pick them up between 4 and 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. It’s important to keep in mind that the clothes may or may not have been cleaned.
