MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WIAT) — Two 12-year-old Wisconsin girls are facing adult charges after allegedly stabbing their friend. The middle school student survived the attack.
Police say the suspects invited the victim to a sleepover Friday night. The next morning, the two girls lured the girl to a park to play a game. Once there the victim was held down and stabbed 19 times.
After the girls left the scene the victim was able to crawl to a nearby road and get help. Investigators say the girls had been planning the attack for months
Police say one of the suspects revealed she didn’t feel any remorse for the attack. Both girls are due back in court next week and face up to 60 years in prison, if convicted.
