BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — An aspiring rap artist is in jail and is charged with trafficking heroin, and it isn’t the first time he’s faced drug charges.
Jefferson County detectives first became acquainted with Christopher Taylor in 2013 when he posted a rap video to YouTube that showed him selling illegal drugs.
He was arrested in 2013 for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
The trafficking charge comes from the discovery of 13 grams of heroin during a narcotics search warrant on May 29. Taylor is being held in the Jefferson County Jail with bonds totaling $365,000.
