Matt Pitt on his time in prison and what he plans to do next

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — He owned the news headlines for months as he battled to clear his name and be released from jail. Now, embattled Youth Pastor Matt Pitt has been a free man for nearly two months, and he granted WIAT 42’s Stephen Hauck an interview to discuss his entire ordeal!

Since his release from the Shelby County jail in mid-April, Matt has been spending as much time as possible with his wife and family, and planning for the future of the Basement ministry. But, his legal troubles are still not over in Jefferson County.

Matt spoke with Stephen about his time behind bars and how his life has changed. He also talks about what the future holds, and what he says to his biggest critics.
