BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – It’s finally the weekend…and Father’s Day weekend at that…Happy Father’s Day! To celebrate, Antwon Ervin with Discover Birmingham has a list of some events you can take in to fill out your weekend itinerary.
Art on the Rocks: Friday 7 p.m.-11 p.m.
It’s time to celebrate! This year marks the 10th anniversary of Art On The Rocks, our summertime series featuring the best of Birmingham culture, with music, food, drinks, performances, activities, and – of course – art! Art on The Rocks began in 2005 as a way to expose visitors to the Museum’s internationally acclaimed art collection in the heart of downtown. To mark our entry into double digits and celebrate our vibrant community, we are seeking the best local talent, from artists to dancers, performers and musicians! If you are interested in participating in this milestone year, contact Carrie Montgomery. Over 2000 people come each year
